Lisa Berich’s healthcare background consists of clinical nursing positions in several specialty areas, including cardiac intensive care, pediatrics, radiology, and an outpatient cardiovascular specialty practice. She is one of the first RNs in the country to be board certified in Cardiovascular Nursing, and is currently a senior consultant with the Walsh Consulting Group, Inc.
Ms. Berich’s experience includes the following:
Registered nurse in cardiac intensive care unit, with experience with patient care equipment, hemodynamic and physiological monitoring systems, and specialty beds.
Responsible for organizing and opening a new outpatient cardiology practice; assisted with management of patients with chronic cardiovascular diseases.
Budgeting and specification development for community hospital replacement and renovation projects including inpatient medical-surgical and intensive care nursing units, obstetrics, pharmacy, lab, rehabilitation, fitness gym, respiratory therapy, emergency, radiology, surgery/PACU, central processing, and outpatient clinics.
Budgeting and specification development for multiple departments of large academic medical center projects requiring relocation of existing equipment, as well as building equipment plan for new equipment. Departments included inpatient nursing and critical care units (adult, cardiac, pediatric, neonatal), neurodiagnostic testing, cardiovascular testing, sleep lab, rehabilitation, radiology, outpatient clinics, and clinical research unit.
Equipment procurement activities for academic medical center, including coordinating equipment demonstrations, staff evaluation development and analysis, competitive bidding process, bid analysis, invoice reconciliation, and other activities associated with procurement of medical equipment.
