Robin Hoff Chandler

Robin Hoff Chandler brings 25 years of pediatric nursing experience including emergency, neurosurgery, orthopedics, oncology, and post-anesthesia care to her current role as Senior Consultant for the Walsh Consulting Group.  As a clinical nurse leader in a large academic pediatric facility for 10 years, she was instrumental in developing the Emergency Department medical equipment plan as part of an overall hospital replacement project.

Ms. Hoff Chandler’s experience includes the following:

  • Participated in the Design Development, Operational Visioning, Transition Planning, and Procurement for a 1.25 s.f. major pediatric hospital relocation project.
  • Worked on planning for a 399,000 s.f. replacement hospital including medical surgical, intensive care, behavioral health, labor and delivery, emergency, and neonatal intensive care units.
  • Involved in the detailed planning, medical equipment budgeting, and specification development for a 196-bed renovation project of a large academic medical center.

  • Assisted with equipment budgeting, specification development, and procurement for the expansion of a major academic medical system.
  • Coordination with architects, engineers, facilities, materials management, purchasing, and senior administration to design and plan a 45-bed Emergency Department for a new pediatric hospital.
  • Responsible for identification of existing equipment suitable for reuse to reduce project budget while maintaining quality patient care.

Prior to joining the Walsh Consulting Group, Ms. Hoff Chandler spent 25 years in pediatric nursing including emergency, neurosurgery, orthopedics, oncology, and post-anesthesia care. She also has 10 years of experience as a clinical nurse leader in a large academic pediatric facility. She has extensive experience in selection, purchase, and use of complex medical equipment.
