Robin Hoff Chandler is a senior consultant for the Walsh Consulting Group. Her primary responsibilities include project management, planning, and design.

Ms. Hoff Chandler’s experience includes the following:

  • Involved in the detailed planning, medical equipment budgeting, and specification development for a 196-bed renovation project of a large academic medical center.
  • Participated in equipment budgeting and procurement for the expansion of a major academic medical system
  • Coordination with architects, engineers, facilities, materials management, purchasing, and senior administration to design and plan a new 45 bed Emergency Department.
  • Directly responsible for Design Development, Operational Visioning, Transition Planning, and Procurement for a major pediatric hospital relocation project.
  • Responsible for identification of existing equipment suitable for reuse to reduce project budget while maintaining quality patient care.
  • Served on hospital value analysis committee to evaluate new equipment and supplies which included coordination of equipment demonstrations, development and analysis of staff evaluations of medical equipment.
  • Launched a lean initiative project for supply management within procedural services at a large academic hospital.

Prior to joining the Walsh Consulting Group, Ms. Hoff Chandler spent 25 years in pediatric nursing including emergency, neurosurgery, orthopedics, oncology, and post-anesthesia care. She also has 10 years of experience as a clinical nurse leader in a large academic pediatric facility. She has extensive experience in selection, purchase, and use of complex medical equipment.
