Our primary planning tool is our in-house Walsh Medical Equipment Planning System. A cloud based system designed in Angular 9 with a PostgreSQL database, this system is truly cutting edge technology and is constantly being improved. We can easily add or edit items in one or many rooms in a project using its powerful editing features. Our reporting suite allows us to sort and view data in many useful ways including medical equipment reports by location, generic description, and manufacturer. A variety of budgeting, procurement, and punch listing reports are also instantly available. Output formats include PDF reports as well as Excel spreadsheets.
The Walsh database is easily accessible from anywhere with an internet connection thus improving productivity. A client user account can be established to allow read-only access to live data and the ability to run various reports for instant viewing. As a green initiative supporting paperless reporting, Walsh reports can also include hyperlinks to vendor cut sheets in both PDF and Excel reports as either hyperlinks or embedded PDFs. The end result is a significant reduction in paper consumption and streamlining report distribution to shared project management sites.
In addition to the Medical Equipment Planning System, Walsh has developed a cloud based punch listing app for equipment deliveries and installations. The app allows us to download equipment lists in the field and notate any issues or mark items as delivered and installed. The system automatically synchronizes the punch list data back to the database allowing us to generate punch list summary reports for thorough and convenient tracking during the installation phase. It saves time and provides the information needed to troubleshoot equipment issues prior to building activation.
