The Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is a 23-story replacement of the existing Children’s Memorial Hospital. The lower portion of the facility consists of Diagnostic and Treatment spaces, including Emergency, Major and Minor surgical services, Clinics, Invasive Imaging, and Medical Imaging. The upper portion of the building is comprised of the Bed Tower, Faculty Offices, and the Sky Lobby. There are a total of 288 Beds including NICU, PICU, CCU, Psychiatry, Epilepsy Monitoring, Research, and Acute Care. Walsh’s involvement in this project included Medical Equipment Budgeting, Specification of New Equipment, Planning Reuse of Existing Equipment, and Comprehensive Procurement Management Services.
